Begin your day with a stroll to the local market and chowks. You can visit the St. John's Church at Gandhi Chowk. It is a beautiful Protestant church that will remind you of the Victorian period. It is an elegant building that has great historical eminence. Then head towards Panchpula, one of the most popular places in the town. Panchpula means ‘five bridges’. The most popular thing about this place is the rippling streams and the gorgeous atmosphere. Later, you will start one of the most amazing routes of the town- Panchpula to Ganji Pahadi. It is a spectacular hike of 2 and a half kilometres. A panoramic picnic spot, the place offers mesmerizing views of the surrounding snow-capped hills and valleys. Ganji Pahari can be visited in all seasons. Enjoy the bucolic life of villagers by spending your time in mud houses for a bit and have an authentic Himachal- flavoured infused lunch on the quintessential chullah. Upon reaching back, later in the evening, around Subhash Chowk, you will get the flavour of taste -buds teasing food. If you don't want to regret anything about you stay, then don't miss the tea of 'yellow scooter.' Upon reaching back, enjoy your stay in the cottage.

Begin your day with a visit to Khajjiar. Located almost an hour from Dalhousie. It will take you a maximum of two hours to reach this beautiful hill station where you can enjoy numerous activities- Morning, Horse Riding, Paragliding. Khajjiar is nicknamed as the ‘Mini Switzerland’ of India. The popular attractions of the place would include the Dhauladhar mountains and the famous Khajjiar Lake By afternoon you will drive towards Dainkund Peak. Located near an air-force base, this peak gives you spectacular views of the Himalayas. There is a temple located here which allegedly keeps away spirits from the peak. To reach the Dainkund peak, you need to trek a bit. However, the trek is not that difficult. A stroll in the woods will help you reach the peak. Later on, we will start a beautiful drive to Kalatop (wild-life sanctuary) which is surrounded by dense pine and spruce forests and with a view of the snow-capped Pir Panjal Range, and the velvety meadow of Khajjiar, the Kalatop Wildlife Sanctuary is a gem of a tourist destination by its own right. The wildlife in the Kalatop Wildlife Sanctuary abounds Ibex, deer, bears and leopards, but they mostly hideaway and rarely come out to the buffer areas. However, one should look for pheasants and Serow. The sanctuary has well-defined trekking trails and offers a mind-blowing view. Come back to the cottage and in no time we will treat you with delicious dinner.

Enjoy waking up to the sunrise. Afterwards, start your onward journey. We are sure you will be smiling all the way after spending the days closer to the nature.
